The AN/UDR-13 has pre-settable audio and visual alarms and an overall accuracy of 15% over the entire dynamic range in severe environments. A 150-hour battery life increases to 1500 hours in sleep mode. The unit is nuclear hardened and not affected by EMP.
Detection and quantification of dose rate of residual radiation from 0.001cGy/hr to 999cGy/hr. Models are available from 0.001microGy/hr to 300cGy/hr and with Sv or Rad units.
Meets MIL-STD-810E for operational environments and is operable by personnel in mission oriented or arctic clothing. It is of ultra-small size (10.5cuin) with a weight of 9.5 oz.
