Anchor Point | Connect2 Surfacemount Roof Anchor Point

This system allows the user to work in a complete 360° around the anchor point with ease as the swivel anchor follows the user as he moves.

Connect2 Surfacemount is designed to fix onto the top of the rib of most roof profiles using specialised structural rivets. This eliminates the need to penetrate the pan of the roof sheet, therefore greatly reducing the risk of leaks through penetrations.

The recommended installation of the Connect2 Surfacemount is to roofs with less than 10° pitch, although it can be used on any roof pitch if required. To increase the aesthetical appearance of this anchor the unit can be powder coated to match any Colourbond roof colour.

Where required, Connect2 Surfacemount can be used as an abseil anchor point when fixed into the purlin as per the manufactures instructions.

The components of Connect2 Surfacemount are manufactured from stainless steel which is Electropolished after manufacture to remove any impurities which could contaminate the stainless steel. Electropolishing gives the Connect2 Surfacemount anchor point a smooth, highly polished finished.

Connect2 Surfacemount is a truly versatile surface mounted anchor point which can be placed anywhere on a screw fixed roof. To fix to a concealed fixed roof the sheets must be at least 3.0m long otherwise the end of the roof sheet must be screw fixed.
