The SLV machines are specifically designed for stacking and shrink wrapping of flat rectangular shaped products such as pharmaceutical cartons, soap cakes, toothpaste, reams of paper, shoe boxes and many others
An engineering marvel can be traced to the vision of a single person and the team behind the person. Brian is the engineering wizard and driving force behind the company. His shrink packaging career started with Helix Pty Limited 1971
His problem solving skills was quickly noticed by management and within a few months was promoted to head the engineering department.
Brain’s quest for perfection and innovation soon pushed him to form his own company. His vision and thirst for innovative engineering was put to the test through the formation in 1978 of Packmatic Pty Ltd. Within a span of 2 to 3 years Packmatic became the most popular manufacturer of Shrink Wrapping Machines in Australia.
Its popularity attracted investors from every corner of the Industry. An ill-fated partnership with investors and a take over of Packmatic caused Brian to move on and create a Joint Venture company in Thailand - Autopack.
Autopack introduced a new innovation called "Solid Knife Welding". Together with a much higher speed machine it became the talk of the industry.
In no time (again) Brian has penetrated the Shrink Wrap industry. This time the machines have much wider international penetration.
