The Q:Scan Continuous Web system inspects the quality of any continuously moving web like like plastic, paper, cardboard or metal sheets.
It detects any flaws in the material like dark specs, foreign matter, gel lumps, holes, greases or machine marks.
Utilising a Camsensor smart camera the moving web is checked with linear scanning. Any defects are tracked using the machine encoder signal. The position of faulty areas are marked on the web roll for rejection.
The operator display Camconsole shows images of defects. All production data can be accumulated and logged, using the Camlink management & control database. It provides efficient monitoring for the complete production process.
