Candida Stationery has been manufacturing envelopes for over 25 years as a privately owned family business. The business was founded by Klaus and Dagmar Girardet who moved to this region to explore business opportunities and raise their family. Klaus had an extensive background in the newspaper industry in Europe - so it was only natural that he should choose Candida as the name for the business. The word candida, while being one of the oldest typefaces used in newspapers around the world, is derived from the Latin word candid meaning white, bright and frank.
The company's focus is on quality, service and continuing investment in the latest printing and forming technology. Candida Stationery offers leading edge printing capabilities through having some of the most up to date equipment in the region. The main manufacturing facility is a significant operation, occupying approximately 3.5 hectares.
This technology along with skilled staff and a focus on customer service has driven substantial growth over recent years and continued investment in the Australian market.
A focus on the future is also seeing significant effort being made in looking for new technologies to compliment core business.
