Capillary Action Disc Filters - Ceramec CC

Supplier: Outotec

The Ceramec filters are used to dewater mineral concentrates and pelletising feed slurries. Micro porous ceramic discs replace conventional filter cloth. Capillary action draws liquid through the pores, and only a small vacuum pump is required, resulting in significantly reduced energy consumption.

Price Guide: POA

A Ceramec filter is simple to install and operate, and is an ideal replacement for inefficient vacuum disc and drum filters. Over 150 units have been installed in base metal flotation concentrators and iron and ferrochrome pelletising plants globally.

The available Ceramec range of capillary action filters covers differing process sizes and throughput requirements. Filtering capacity reaches as high as 100 tons an hour per unit.

Availability is higher and power consumption is lower than with conventional vacuum filters. This represents greater productivity for your operational system.
