Features Carton & Tray Packers - Case Filling Machine Type KV:
- Depending on the application, the machine design allows the product infeed to be inline or from either side.
- Bags continue to be stacked while the case is being filled and transferred
- Cases or trays are slightly inclined to allow the bags to transfer securely to position, creating a stable stack.
- A transfer tongue enters the case and allows products to transfer smoothly while maximising usage of space within the case.
Bags or flow-wraps enter the KV System on an infeed conveyor or between inclined top and bottom belts. The bags lie flat with the fin seals leading as they proceed towards the loading position.
For speeds of up to 80bags/min the bags can be accelerated directly into the waiting case or tray. For higher speeds, the bags are precollated and are transferred into the case or tray by a pusher mechanism.
The pre-erected case or tray takes up a near vertical position with the open side facing the incoming bags. As each bag or pre-collated stack enters the case, the case indexes downwards until it is filled. A new case indexes into position, while the filled case exits from the machine discharge belt.
