The Program

The program addresses both the technical skills needed to safely perform the function of a tyre serviceman and the inherent safety issues associated with the role.


YES! The Certificate 2 is recognised by the Australian National Training Authority and complies with the guidelines set out under the Australian Recognition Framework.

This qualification is fully transportable and will be recognised within all states of Australia.

The Structure

The Certificate 2 Engineering (Production) in Tyre Maintenance comprises of seven subject areas that cover 20 units of competency from the Australian National Training Package.

Part 1 Technical Skills: Tyre Maintenance Techniques (5 days)

Part 2 Soft Skills: Human Resources Quality Customer (7 Days)


DOES THE PROGRAM REQUIRE ASSESSMENT? Yes. Students will be required to demonstrate both on and off the job competence.


Klinge & Co Assessors will be available to provide ongoing support to students throughout the assessment process.


Klinge & Co Pty Ltd as a Recognised Training Organisation (RTO) will issue a framed Statement of Attainment for each unit upon successful completion of all assessment requirements.

A framed Certificate 2 –Engineering (Production) in Tyre Maintenance will be issued upon successful completion of all units.
