The Workplace Environmental Responsibilities training course is suited to supervisors, project managers, and staff who require a level of environmental knowledge for their day to day work.
It has been developed to educate your workforce of its responsibilities and actions required under Federal and State Environmental Acts, thus giving you the confidence you need that your organisation will be a stand out environmental performer.
Course Objectives and Outcomes:
Education of all members of the workforce of their responsibilities and actions required under the Federal and State Environmental Acts
Understand personal responsibilities in dealing with environmental incidents
Follow environmental procedures and control measures relating to environmental risk management;
Understand the basic key provisions of relevant legislations
This course covers:
How to implement procedures in accordance with environmental legislation
How to identify environmental issues and follow appropriate procedures
How to recognise emergency situations in the workplace and perform notification tasks
How to work in an environmentally sustainable manner
Who Should Attend
This course can be delivered on-line or face to face as required.
This Course can be delivered both on-line or face to face. On-line the participant will undertake the modules at their own pace. Face to face delivery over 6-8 hours. Following this is a workplace assessment which takes approximately two weeks to complete.
Assessment is conducted within the modules along the way. Participants are required to contextualise what they have learnt by completing a straight forward written assessment.
Maximum 20 attendees or on-line.
