Climbing Comfort for the Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb

Challenge

The employees who frequent the climbing base were subjected to extreme temperatures. Small doors at the end of the building provided only some of the outside air necessary to keep the environment comfortable, and the absence of a cross breeze kept the building extremely warm, even in mild temperatures.

Solution

Two Pivots and One Powerfoil D Big Ass Fans distributed gentle columns of air over large spaces, creating a cooling effect from the gentle breezes that can make a person feel 10 degrees cooler. All of the inhabitants of Bridge Climb are enjoying the comfortable breezes that reach all corners of the building.
