Hot stamping involves heating a colored foil and melting it onto the label. It can sometimes damage temperature-sensitive substrates, such as plastic films and non-porous materials. So with these substrates, cold foil printing is the only option.
The cold foil process is done in-line on press and therefore eliminates the need for a second off-line operation of hot foil stamping. Being in-line that inks, varnishes, and coatings can be applied over the cold foil on press. The cold foil printing is a cost-effective inline process that works in conjunction with most printing techniques, mimicking the effect of hot foil stamping.
Whatever the metallic foil stamping and cold foil printing, Ching Teng can recommend the suitable processing according to your quantity and content to achieve the same effect and meet the demand but with a competitive price. We emphasize using the efficient processing method to reduce costs for the customers, rather than using cheap raw materials and low labor costs.
