Utilising our portfolio of treatment technologies Tox Free has remediated over 50 contaminated sites in Australia since 2001. Through our innovative treatment processes and technical expertise Tox Free is capable of remediating sites contaminated with both organic and inorganic contaminants at all concentration levels.
Our Kwinana facility specialises in the remediation of soils contaminated with schedule X compounds such as PCB and OCP and has successfully remediated over 15,000 tonnes of soil by thermal desorption.
Thermal remediation of contaminated soils involves the removal of the contaminant(s) from the soil matrix using Tox Free's patented Thermal Desorption or Thermal Destruction technology with all soil remediated to reuse criteria. The extracted contaminants undergo further treatment and/or destruction to remove all hazardous properties ensuring there are no ongoing liabilities for our clients.
