Our Single & Twin Idler belt scales are inherently stable - delivering accurate, reliable and repeatable material totalising and instantaneous flow rates.
Also called belt scales, scale conveyors and weightometers, belt weighers deliver a cost effective weighing system. Needing no additional headroom they are readily installed to new and pre-existing conveyors.
Able to be installed into the carry side of most conveyors, an Active Weighing Solutions Belt Weigher will deliver accurate and reliable long term weighing performance, even in harsh, dirty environments.
Continuous Weighing:- Most commonly used for continuous weighing, the Belt Weigher will accurately totalise the passing product mass over the conveyor, providing simple process control or accurate stock monitoring.
Blending:- Where minor ingredient addition accuracy is critical, the Belt Weigher output signal can be used as the remote set point for a gravimetric feeder. The Belt Weigher flow rate output signal can also be used with a Volumetric Feeder where the accuracy of minor ingredient addition is less critical.
Batch Outloading:- The Belt Weigher can be used to batch out a predetermined load with pre-act for accurate batching into rail or truck, maximising the loading and preventing over weight loads.
Standard designs are available to suit:
Belt widths from 300 to 3,000mm wide
Flow rates up to 5,000tph (higher rates are available)
Standard Single Idler Belt Weigher - expect accuracy of ± 1.0 to ± 2.0%
Standard Two Idler Belt Weigher - expect accuracy of ± 0.5 to ± 1.0%
