Fred was asked to join the Cookie Man MBO team in 1997 and, as well as working on the re-launch and re-positioning of the brand, initiated development of innovative new products and horizontal expansion into new markets. This culminated in the sale of the business to listed entities for $7m. He started The Gourmet Chef a wholesale bakery from scratch and grew sales to $2 million within 2 years prior to selling. For Auto-Bake Pty Limited, he developed the international sales and licensing side of the business and ultimately set-up and managed their UK based European operations
Fred's expertise is working in a consultative and mentoring role in turnarounds and international export and leadership. He has over 30 years experience in private sector businesses including aviation, light and heavy engineering, plastics (PVC), food manufacturing, food and gift retailing and franchising/licensing.
Fred is grounded and disciplined, with a bottom line imperative. He has front line sales experience over a wide range of industries domestically and internationally.
