Historically track systems used on repetitive lift applications have been designed around minimum load ratings of 125kg, regardless of the required load ratings. Whilst this is possibly advantageous from a design perspective, however from an operator ease of use perspective, this has become a major manual handling issue.
Consider a lifting a 25kg bag using a vacuum lifter on a heavy track system rated at 125kg. The operator not only has to move the bag and the vacuum lifter, but also the additional over rated track hardware. The major manual handling risk is now the moving (and stopping…) of the bag, lifter and heavy hoist track system.
The MHA Ergorail hoisting track profile is specially produced just for rapid, light weight handling situations. The aluminium rail provides excellent stiffness in relation to its extremely low dead weight.
Low weight track trolleys with low resistance roller bearings ensure that cranes and hoist systems can be moved rapidly, but still 'softly' even in intensive and repetitive handling applications.
