The new Crown WF 3000 / ST 3000 / SX 3000 Series stackers feature time and cost-saving options for a wide range of applications in retail, distribution centres and warehouses. Along with typical Crown design and robustness features, the stackers incorporate a short turning radius, compact power unit, and centre-mounted tiller with brake override to provide the best manoeuvrability in the industry.
Reliable, compact and efficient
With its compact design, the WF 3000, currently the most advanced stacker on the market, is offered in 1.0 and 1.2 ton capacities which can easily manoeuvre loads in tightly congested areas. The forks are positioned directly above the outriggers and are therefore ideally suited to Euro pallets and any pallet without bottom boards at the forks' point of entry. A four-point wheel configuration on both models provides maximum stability for transporting loads.
The ST 3000 straddle truck (1000 kg capacity) with adjustable forged forks and adjustable outriggers (from 865 to 1270 mm) gives the operator the flexibility required to respond to various applications. It is particularly suited to handling closed-bottom or four-way pallets and containers.
The SX 3000 (1350 kg capacity) is ideal for applications requiring greater capacities or auxiliary hydraulics.
Ergonomics in hand
With the centre-mounted award winning X10™ control handle the new series' turning radius is one of the smallest in this product class. All the controls are within easy reach, requiring minimum hand and wrist movement. The horn buttons are integrated into the X 10’s grips, providing easy access for either one- or two-handed operation. The ergonomic thumbwheel allows for infinite speed control and precise manoeuvring. The rabbit / turtle switch matches travel speed to operator experience and application environment. Crown’s exclusive automatic Brake Override allows the truck to travel at creep speed with the handle in a nearly vertical position. This means that the handle stays within the geometry of the truck, providing outstanding manoeuvrability in confined spaces.
Clear view ahead
The sloped, low-profile power unit and clear mast design of the Crown Stacker Series provide excellent fork tip visibility (typically 50 percent of the total fork length). The centre-mounted tiller enables the operator to see both sides of the load, which aids positioning and leaves little room for operator error and damage to the goods. Forward and upward visibility are also excellent due to the clear mast design with nested rails and efficient routing of hydraulic hoses.
New Crown features are the orange fork tip indicators positioned on the top and underside of the forks for enhanced pallet entry on the ground and at height.
Built for life – Guaranteed!
The WF 3000 / ST 3000 / SX 3000 Series have been specially designed for years of reliable operation in the most demanding applications. Robustness was a key design strategy for the WF, ST and SX models. Compared with competitor models, Crown use substantially more steel in the design of the chassis, paying particular attention to critical load-bearing and stress areas. That is why Crown includes a lifetime warranty for the chassis.
Optional equipment for even greater flexibility
Designed for flexibility, the Crown Stacker Series handle plastic or wooden pallets, skids, metal containers or wire baskets in congested work areas for a highly efficient material handling solution. There is a wide range of Crown-designed optional equipment such as tandem load wheels, load backrest, and cold store versions to –30°C. Additionally, the Crown Work Assist™ accessories feature remote raise/lower control, clip pad and hook for mounting a scanning gun and other essential work related tools to make daily tasks easier. The entire Series is produced in Roding, Germany.
