Over the last few months unfortunately we have seen "Mother Nature" in all her fury with some devastating results especially in Far North Queensland again.
They had just started to recover from Cyclone Larry a category 4 in March 2006 and then Cyclone Yasi hit, a category 5 with winds up to 295km per hr.
In all the devastation, there were some great news though too, especially from Homefab, one of our biggest Steel Frame Housing Manufacturer up north.
They have developed a Cyclone Rated Building System that incorporates high tensile light weight steel and our Henrob Rivets to create a high quality and durable product that has now proven it can definitely withstand cyclones.
As soon as the phone lines were up and running again after Yasi, Homefab received numerous calls from very happy customers who still had their Henrob riveted Steel Frame Houses standing, most of them with none or minimal damage, as you can see in the pictures which we received from Homefab.
