This unit has a weight of only 720 kg which means that it can be towed with no license required. Under current legislation anyone without a towing license can only tow a trailer up to 750 kg.
With this in mind, SMH has looked to make life easier for the contractor and designed the 150RT.
The unit has been carefully designed so that very little interior space is lost, in fact the unit is only 200mm shorter than it’s bigger brother the 151.
This extremely strong construction stands on a new, specially designed, galvanised chassis and has the benefits of the GRP roof design found on the 151 maximising the light throughout.
The 150RT is a fully self contained shower unit with the bespoke front spoiler housing the boiler, interior lockers with charging points and external access to the Honda LPG generator, LPG supply point and weather resistant flush mounted mains inlet.
The Clean Area contains a 125ltr fresh water tank with external and internal fill points, access to the water heater and all the usual fittings such as:
- Oil filled radiator
- Interior lighting
- Personal lockers with charging points
- First aid kit
- Fire extinguisher
- Coat hooks
- Bench seat
- Towel rail
The Shower Area has a large capacity sink for mask washing, with a surprisingly large showering area for a compact unit. This has been maximised by the 150’s clever design layout.
The Dirty Area Contains the same Negative pressure unit found in the larger range of decontamination units, which is concealed by the bench seat, again to maximise space for an operative.
There quite simply isn’t another unit on the market that can match the 150 capabilities and design.
