Enviro Concepts Deep Bed Media Filters (DBMF) are engineered for enhanced suspended solids removal and turbidity reduction. They are typically setup as the final stage of our filtration process (post filtration and polishing) in our recycling plants before the water is returned to our washpads.
The Deep Bed Media Filter uses the latest generation in filtration media which has proven capacity to screen impurities down to as low as 3 to 5 µm (micron). It also reduces turbidity down to <0.1 NTU. It does this by having special filtration abilities such as physical and electrostatic adsorption and ion-exchange.
Enviro Concepts Deep Bed Media Filters are typically setup as the final stage of our filtration before the water is returned to the washpads. After the water has passed through the rest of the treatment system the water quality is at a high level. However there still could be solids in the water up to 20 microns, our Deep Bed Filters are able to reduce the particles in the water down to a nominal 3 microns. The Deep Bed Filter is paired with a tank in the final stage of water filtration.
We offer a wide range of Deep Beed Media Filter size and capacities to suit flow rates from as low as 20 Litre/minute to as high as 940 Litre/minute. We can also setup multiple filters in parallel configuration to suit larger flow rate capacities. We can also setup in series configurations and varying filter media for specific filtration & water quality requirements.
When the application requires flawless water output (car washes, or car detailing) a double filter can be installed resulting in a higher level of water clarification designed for a spotless finish.
Automatic Filter Head and Valve Control
All of our Deep Bed Filters are installed with intelligent Filter Head units that are programmed to polish, backwash, control timing, and regenerate. The filter heads are pre-programmed before they are installed and can be used without any interactions from staff.
