This transmitter features a double analog output, in V or mA. Four climate variables can be measured, including temperature, relative humidity, dew point and mixture ratio.
All key sensor characteristics, settings and adjustment data are stored in the sensor element itself. Measured values are digitally transferred from the sensor element to the transmitter. The humidity transmitter can operate in temperatures of -20 to 80°C, and in 5-98% relative humidity.
There is no restriction to the measuring range, and accuracy is approximately ±1.8% RH in the 20-80% range. The temperature sensor has an accuracy of ±1K for the whole operating range. Output types include 0-10V, 0-20mA and 4-20mA. These outputs can be selected via the keypad, and the output range can be programmed.
The two-row LCD is large and clear, and displays the measured value, channel, units, humidity range, analog start and analog end, and analog type. The housing is die-cast aluminium, with dimensions 100 x 100 x 60 mm, and the whole sensor is protected to a rating of IP65. The unit is suitable for conduit mounting or wall mounting.
The sensor tube can be connected either directly on the transmitter itself or via a connecting cable. Spare elements are inexpensive, and the replacement can be inserted quickly and easily on site by almost anyone. No calibration is needed.
This digital humidity transmitter is available in Australia and New Zealand from Bestech Australia Pty Ltd.
