In 1972, above an old racehorse stable in the inner Sydney city suburb of Annandale, Doric Products opened for business. Originally a tiny brass window fabricator, Doric Products has grown to the largest privately owned hardware manufacturer in Australia. The founding Directors, Ray Long and Roy Alchin, both had extensive experience in the manufacture of steel windows and doors and therefore understood the advantages of a fabricator having a reliable supply of quality components at an economic price.
