Materials handling specialist, Team Systems, through its two Victorian offices and Western Australian branch, is distributing the Aus-Tec range of Easitilt ™ industrial trolleys which afford easy, safe movement of loads weighing up to 300 kgs and minimise the risk of strain injuries.
The key feature of the Easitilt ™ products is the unique, patented, Baldini floating axle and fulcrum rocker system.
This award winning Aussie invention reduces effort to tilt back a fully loaded trolley by an amazing 60% and then gives a perfect, secure load balance over the wheels when fully loaded. It therefore greatly reduces risk of strain injuries when tilting the trolley and spinal compression injuries when wheeling it.
The Baldini floating axle mechanism is simple and safe to operate and no foot is required on the axle when tilting backwards or forwards as required for a conventional trolley.
Aus-Tec trolleys are all engineer designed for maximum load security and operator ergonomics and fabricated to withstand the toughest industrial conditions.
Three models make up the Easitilt ™ range all with 300 kg load capacity. The All Rounder ™ is 1400 mm high and has a curved load support design with a special drum hook which can be used to secure 205 litre drums. This hook can be rotated out of the way when not being used to handle drums. It is also ideal for handling beer barrels, gas bottles, garden ornaments, hot water cylinders, auto and machinery parts, etc. “It’s definitely ended our gut bustin” says mechanic John Shaw of Sheffield, Tas.
The Box ‘N’ Bag ™ is 1280 mm high and has a flat load support RHS frame. It is specially designed for handling heavy loads of boxes and bags. It is great for bags of flour, cartons of drink products, boxes of tiles, frozen products, fruit, etc.
Then there is the Super Mover ™, with a deep curved load support. This is 1560mm high and is fitted with larger 300mm wheels. It is designed for moving tall, heavy or bulky loads such as fridges, vending machines, ATM machines, large hot water cylinders, large gas cylinders, plastic 205 litre barrels, furniture, stacks of tyres, etc.
A ratchet strap for extra load security is optional for this model.
Managing Director of Team Systems, Shane Poulton, says that the Easitilt ™ trolleys are beautifully made and have been quickly taken up by a number of Australia’s major companies such as Woolworths, PFD Food Services, Reece, Cummins, and Dulux. He says they value not only the safety advantages, but also the ergonomic frame designs and the robust quality of these products which are backed by a manufacturer’s quality guarantee.
