Electric vibrators consist of a specially designed motor with out-of-balance weights attached to shafts extending from each end of the rotor.

These weights can be adjusted to give different force outputs within the range of the motor but the speed of rotation (frequency) remains constant, unless an external speed controller is used (VFC drive).

2 pole motors are used as flow aids, with 4, 6 and 8 pole motors being most commonly used as drives for various machines.

Vibrating motors from VSS are all IP66.7 rated (except for 5 of the smaller models), with many of the 2 pole models being available in either single or three phase.

The Netter series NEG/NEH high frequency electric external vibrators were specially developed for concrete compaction in tunnel formworks and in moulds used in plants which manufacture pre-fabricated parts.

The nominal rotational speed of 6,000 min-1 and robust construction satisfy the requirements of the construction industry.

Construction and Working Principle
Electric external vibrators are unbalance motors which operate according to the short circuit rotor principle. Adjustable unbalances located at each end of the shaft create an non-directional, sinusoidal vibration at the frequency of the respective rotational speed. The NEG series differs from the NEH series in their type of attachment. NEH vibrators are attached using Netter series NVH quick-release brackets. This allows easy repositioning of the units.
