ICP Electronics Australia has announced the release of the ACT-412A 12.1" EM/Mifare Access Control Terminal from IEI suitable for Home, Office and Factory Automation, Boardroom Management, Healthcare and many other applications.
The tough design is ideal for indoor and outdoor applications, with the housing of the ACT terminal constructed from durable plastic with an IP64 front panel protection making it water & dust resistant. The ACT-412A features anti-shock and anti-vibration shields, as well as an extended temperature range of 10ºC~50ºC making it resistant to extreme environmental conditions. Using an in-wall mounting box allows you to achieve "picture frame" style installations, making it blend in perfectly with your environment.
The ACT-412A includes a 45 nm Intel® Atom™ processor N270 which has a 1.60 GHz CPU and a 533 MHz FSB with a 512 KB L2 cache, resulting in ultra-low power consumption. Other features include a 12.1" TFT touch colour screen with full interface display, an Intel® 945GSE graphics memory controller hub (GMCH) which is interfaced through a high-speed direct media interface (DMI) to an Intel® Mobil ICH7-M I/O controller hub (ICH).
This system provides impressive functionality with built-in 3W speakers and microphone for bi-directional voice communication or voice messaging, a 300K pixel web-camera for real-time image/video access for capture or facial identification.
The ACT-412A features 4 channel DI/DO devices to enable direct control of equipment. This allows you to control motors, heaters, valves and lamps with the ACT-412A Digital I/O interface.
