Whilst incorporating all of version 5's key features, version 6 brings improved functionality and seamless integration with the control system.
A simplified front-end gives access to all areas of the software from a single screen. Function keys can be assigned to almost any function (e.g. 'Save') allowing that function to be called from anywhere within the software.
Multiple users, each with different access rights, can be added. An intelligent logging program stores the movements of each user.
By far the largest improvement within the software is the addition of Eurobend's '3D Visual Editing Tools.' These tools are part of a graphical editor, which accompanies the existing part editor.
A part may be created in the standard way (XYZ and YBC data) or it may be created graphically by adding/removing/changing bend data within a three dimensional visual environment.
The user may switch between the two editing modes at any time.Also, at any point of development, the user may run a three dimensional Bending Simulation which simulates both draw bending and roll bending.
This simulation shows a close representation of the users own bending machine (fully editable - allowing resizing of parts and the addition of tie-bars etc.) and runs through the manufacturing of the part exactly as the tube bender would.
The simulation, which can be rotated and zoomed while simulating the part, will warn the user of any potential collision.
As well as drawing/simulating round and square tube, the user may input the dimensions of a profile, allowing the simulation of any shaped section.
