FLOW2D - This service is based on the FEA method and is used for the analysis and design of arbitrary 2D flow fields, from wire and cable coating to co-extrusion die design. This service can be used to quickly troubleshoot problems in virtually any extrusion process.
FLOW3D - This is used for detailed study of arbitrary 3D flow geometries, and features particle tracking.
Chill Roll - This service analyses the cooling of polymer sheet or film through a chill roll system. It also has the ability to simulate coated substrates and to determine chill roll loads.
Profile Die and Cooling - This analysis targets arbitrary profiled shapes and their cooling systems. From PVC window profiles to multi-lumen medical tubing, it can reduce design time and optimise production rates.
Extruder - This service is used for the analysis and design of all types of extrusion screws for single screw extruders. From simple conventional designs to more complex vented or multi-flighted designs. This analysis has the versatility to suit any application and requirement.
Flat Die - This analysis deals with all types of flat dies used in extrusion coating or the production of film and sheet. It can also be applied to side fed annular dies used for pipe, coating and blow moulding applications.
From simple T-slot to coat-hanger type designs, this analysis will reduce design time and virtually eliminate rework because it will let you know how the die will perform before it is manufactured.
Spiral Die - This type of analysis investigates spiral mandrel dies typically used in the tubular (blown) film process but is also found in pipe and blow moulding applications. It provides a fast, accurate insight into the very complex flow field allowing for the best possible equipment performance prior to manufacturing.
Multi-Layer - This service has been specifically developed for the analysis and design of planar and axis-symmetric, multi-layer flow regions of up to 20 layers. When this service is combined with the Flat Die or Spiral Die service, it can be used to design complete co-extrusion die systems.
