Fixed Natural Gas Leak Detection System ...
Stationary natural gas leak detection for remote 360 degree monitoring of elevated methane gas concentrations in ambient air at a distance of up to 150m.
LMS-Remote is a stationary natural gas leak detection system for remote 360o monitoring of elevated methane gas concentrations in ambient air at a distance of up to 150m (a stationary unit with a reflector can reach up to 1,000m). It is specifically designed for the constant scanning and monitoring of mission-critical areas.
LMS-Remote is based on the utilisation of laser absorption spectrophotometer-meter of methane gas for gas measurement. The system detects natural gas leaks by emitting a laser at particular wavelengths and analysing the light reflected from an object to determine how much was absorbed by the methane in natural gas. A laser beam is emitted from the sensor and strokes a remote object. The system analyses the laser light back scatter to determine how much, if any of the laser energy was absorbed by methane along the laser-light path.
