Graphic Products | Nameplates by LNI combine durability with a long-lasting quality and appearance.
LNI Nameplates function for years, maintaining their original good looks under a broad variety of challenging environments including high temperatures, long outdoor exposure, abrasion, salt spray and most chemicals.
Whether thin or heavy gauge, we use the highest quality aluminium and decorate by means of anodising, etching, screen printing, embossing, forming, encapsulating with a urethane coating or a mix of these operations.
A wide range of adhesives can be used to affix the nameplate or the nameplate can be supplied with punched holes suitable for riveting. Nameplates can be manufactured in a variety of shapes, from conventional right angle corners to radius corners and unique die cut forms.
Anodising aluminium is a process in which the printed image is effectively sealed into the aluminium to protect it over time.
The aluminium is suspended in a chemical solution and an electric current is run through it. This produces an oxide coating that is porous. The aluminium is then dyed or printed and the required text or image is then trapped in the surface by sealing it in a hot bath. The result is a beautiful and durable finish.
Anodised Nameplates offer a protective as well as decorative finish. They are used in harsh environments where the integrity of the nameplate must stand the test of time. The oxide coating that is grown in the surface is harder than the aluminium itself.
Detail on the nameplate can be embossed to produce a highly decorative and functional nameplate.
Typical Applications are: Serial Number Plates, Compliance Plates, Warning Instructions, Rating Plates, Company Nameplates for outdoor use.
LNI’s Organic Nameplates are Silk Screen Printed. The aluminium is treated with a topcoat, which enables the ink to adhere to the surface of the aluminium giving a hardwearing print for friendly environments.
Organic Nameplates offer a highly decorative finish. A wide variety of colours can be printed; detail on the nameplate can be embossed and/or encapsulated with urethan to produce a highly decorative and functional Embossed Aluminium Lenscal Badge.
Typical Applications are: Warning Nameplates requiring specific colours such as yellow or white, Serial Number plates for indoor applications, Fire Rating Tags, General Nameplates for indoor use, Decorative Embossed Lenscal Badges, Aluminium Lenscal Badges.
