Gyprock | Soundchek Plasterboard
It is a machine made sheet composed of a high density gypsum core encased in a heavy duty linerboard.
The linerboard is folded along the long edges around the core and the ends are cut square.
A small recess is formed on the long edges to simplify jointing.

Outstanding acoustic performance. 43% higher mass than regular plasterboard. As mass is directly related to sound damping, sound transmission is far less than with standard plasterboard.
