While it might appear to be ok, it's what goes on beneath the timber floors that can cause a real problem. The free movement of moisture in the ply can eventually cause the timber to move and destabilise from the heated slabs. This leads to many problems including gapping (excessive space between planks), crowning (curving of the wood) and of course, cupping (a dished appearance).
- Developed in the U.S.A and new to the Australian market, Tectonic Timber Floors have found a way around these problems. Even the harshest environments are no match.
- Tectonic's Heated Timber Floors can withstand high and low moisture prone areas and of course, the difficult heated slabs.
