HYDAC is expanding its product range of high pressure filters for reversible oil flow with a filter design which has an Dp-optimised filter head.
The new filter head has been designed with larger cross sections, in order to achieve a reduction in pressure drop. It is available for sizes DFF 330, 500, 660 (one-part and two-part version), 990 and 1320 and serves as an alternative to competitive filters for reversible oil flow suchas the Parker filter range 100 P.
Some of the competitors use sleeve valves in their filters which are not completely leak-proof and which allow part of the flow to reach the clean side unfiltered. That means the sleeve valves allow a constant stream of contamination to reach the clean side.
With comparable Dp to competitive filters HYDAC uses poppet valves in the new filter head, which are 100% leak-proof resulting in strict separation between the dirty and clean side.
