SIPA of Veneto, Italy, a global leader of Stretch Blow Moulding Machines for the production of PET bottles, have modified their Sincro TriBloc unit to enable it to handle hot fill for products such as juices with pulps as well as cold filled carbonated CSD drinks.
The Sincro TriBloc which normally comprises of a blowing, labelling and filling function has had the labelling function replaced with a piston filler.
Available in either single or double stream technology, it allows for the juice and pulp to be dosed separately into juice drinks.
With single stream, the pulp and juice are mixed together eliminating the need for the online dosing of the pulp while double stream is dosed separately via the piston filler. The SIPA machine provides gentle product handling with minimal macaration of the pulp and has the capability to handle liquid up to 95°C. There is minimal product dwell time in the filler prior to dosing to maintain optimal product quality.
SIPA have designed the machines to handle both hot and cold fill without the need to change the filling valves and other components. The syrup room, the product pasteuriser and the 'mass-blend' (mixer and carbonator) are fully integrated in these SIPA systems.
