CLIPLINE complete combines all terminal block connection methods in a unique system. This means that standard accessories are the same, irrespective of whether you opt for a screw, spring-cage, push-in, IDC or bolt connection method. This reduces your logistics costs and allows you the flexibility to deal with all your customers' requirements.

All terminal blocks of the CLIPLINE complete system can be freely combined with each other using the uniform double bridge shaft, and can be plugged with the modular COMBI system.

PIT - Push-in connection terminal blocks

Phoenix Contact push-in connection terminal blocks (PIT) have been developed for direct conductor connection. This means that solid conductors or conductors with ferrules can be directly plugged into the terminal block without tools.

The special spring contour allows conductors with ferrules (starting from 0.34 mm²) to be easily plugged. The contact spring is automatically opened when the conductor is pushed in and thereby ensures the required pressure force against the current bar. Opening the spring – for loosening the conductors or for the connection of small cross sections from 0.14 mm² – is done using the actuation lever. This can be actuated with all common screwdrivers.

The technical data of the PIT terminal blocks clearly surpass the requirements of the relevant standards, as in the case of all other connection methods from Phoenix Contact. The gas-tight conductor contacting also fulfills special criteria, such as the vibration test in acc. with the railway standard EN 50155.

UT Universal Terminals – Screw connection terminal blocks

Phoenix Contact screw terminal blocks are designed for very high demands. An important characteristic is the maintenance-free connection of conductors - it is not necessary to re-tighten the terminal screws after the initial installation. The screws are prevented from loosening by the "Reakdyn principle", a screw locking technique developed by Phoenix Contact.

All kinds of copper conductors can be clamped without pretreatment. Splicing protection can also be used in the form of ferrules. A special characteristic of the screw clamping body is the multi-conductor connection, which is often necessary.

Very large conductor cross sections up to 240 mm² can also be wired gas-tight and with long-term stability thanks to the high contact forces.

ST spring terminals - spring-cage connection terminal blocks

Spring-cage terminals blocks from Phoenix Contact have been developed for universal spring-loaded conductor contacting. The contact force is independent of the user and creates a vibration-proof, gas-tight connection with long-term stability. The connection point is opened with a standard screwdriver.

After the conductor has been inserted into the terminal compartment, the screwdriver is removed and the conductor automatically makes contact.

The front connection facilitates convenient operation. This means that the conductor and the screwdriver come parallel from the same direction. A variety of copper conductors of up to 35 mm² can be clamped without pretreatment. Splicing protection can also be used in the form of ferrules. Phoenix Contact spring-cage terminal blocks offer a large insertion space, i.e. conductors with nominal cross section that have ferrules can also be wired.
