Flexshield Clear PVC and Loaded Vinyl noise barriers control noise by blocking the transmission of sound energy and absorbing vibrations.

Noise barriers can be used to fully or partially enclose a noise source, they can be hung in doorways leading to sources of noise such a plant rooms, or a mobile noise barrier can be made by simply hanging the noise barrier on a frame with castors.

Industrial Noise barriers install quickly and economically while providing greater noise reduction than any other materials of similar size and weight.

Applications of Noise Barriers

Flexible noise barriers are used to:

  • Isolate or enclose noisy equipment or operations
  • Isolate or enclose operators and bystanders
  • Separate noisy work areas from other areas
  • They also provide protection against dust, fume
  • and splash contamination Flexible Sound
  • Barriers can be used as;
  • Sound Barrier Enclosures
  • Sound Barrier Partitions
  • Sound Curtain Dividers
  • Sound Barrier Strip Curtains
  • Sound Barriers for Construction Sites
  • Mobile Sound Barrier Screens

Sound proof walls are one type of noise barrier commonly used.  Acoustic sound barrier constructions are readily supplied as dividing walls in factories where, for example, an office area or staff tea room could be isolated from the noise of the working space.  Acoustic dividing walls, made from materials capable of withstanding outdoor environmental impact, are effective noise barriers against traffic noise, refrigeration or air conditioning plant noise and can be used both to protect neighbours from your noise, or your workplace from someone else’s noise.

At Flexshield our Sonic System acoustic panels can be assembled into configurations and sizes capable of providing effective sound proof enclosures and barriers. Acoustic rooms and acoustic panels are simply erected from noise control paneling designed to slip and clip together with ease. Noise barriers can be installed around internal machinery, external machinery, around roof top installations where ever noise reduction is required. The Sonic System is so magnificently designed that sound proof doors, sound proof windows , vision panels and access for all services such as electricity and ventilation can be combined with sound proof walls to create complete acoustic enclosures and rooms.

Flexshield also supply a range of mobile noise barriers, for use where noise control is only required when particular processes are taking place, or where machinery is used intermittently. Mobile sound proof barriers are an economical solution to noise control in workplaces where individual processes may require noise reduction measures one after the other. Mobile noise barriers can be shifted from each process in turn, allowing for effective noise control with the minimum of equipment and cost, with the added advantage that they are able to be conveniently moved away to a storage area when not required.

Another type of noise barrier supplied by Flexshield are sound proof curtains. Once again these can be mobile or permanently suspended either in fixed position or capable of sliding or folding away on suspended tracks.
