Sydney, August, 2012 – Intermec, Inc. (NYSE: IN) has announced it is rolling out a new range of printers across the APAC region. Developed for a diverse range of industrial, desktop and mobile environments, Intermec's new PM43 and PM43c, PR2 and PR3, PC43d, PC43t and PC23d each feature the fastest throughput, or fastest time to first receipt in their class.

The printers offer the ultimate in reliable and intuitive communication options with a unique full color touch-screen, a choice of 10 languages or easy to recognize universal icons, and a multi-lingual intuitive web-based user interface. The printers also reduce IT support needs with integrated device management, allowing the printers to be monitored from anywhere in the world via handheld computers, laptops, smart phones or tablet computers.
The printers print small barcodes, text and images with pinpoint accuracy to save industrial customers time and money. The PM43 and PM43c also offer the fastest deployment time in the market with innovative no-touch configuration via an optional embedded RFID chip. The PM43 printer series also boasts reduced maintenance times for organisations, with the print heads and platen rollers field user replaceable.

Designed for all day comfort for mobile field professionals in direct store delivery (DSD) route accounting, field service, mobile point of sale and electronic citation, the two-inch PR2 and three-inch PR3 mobile printers are fast, with the fastest time to first receipt in their class. They are also built for all day comfort and reliability to ensure rapid and consistent invoice printing and secure payment capture capabilities.
PC43d and PC43t desktop printers for light duty labeling
Intermec's new PC43d and PC43t desktop printers provide intuitive, flexible and smart solutions for light duty labeling applications in transportation, courier, hospitality, manufacturing, warehouse and office environments. Designed to set a new standard in user friendliness and flexibility, the PC43d and PC43t printers join the healthcare-optimized PC23d wristband and label printer to round out a complete new line of desktop printers with a purpose-built platform and innovative design.
The entire PC Series offers the fastest throughput in its class at eight inches per second. The PC Series also includes the ability for one-handed media loading and quick configuration via a USB stick device, making the printers easy to install and maintain.
