Johnson Pump's gear pump design is based on an internal idler gear rotating inside of a larger rotor. Internal gear pumps are robust, give an even flow, handle both low and high viscosity products, are capable of high pressure and are self-priming.
Examples of applications
Gear pumps are used or have a potential in all types of industries such as:
- Pure or filled bitumen, pitch, diesel oil, crude oil, lube oil
- Sodium silicate, acids, plastics, mixed chemicals, isocyanates
- Paint and Ink
- Resins and Adhesives
- Pulp & Paper
- Acid, soap, lye, black liquor, kaolin, lime, latex, sludge
- Chocolate, cacao butter, fillers, sugar, vegetable fats and oils, molasses, animal feed
Johnson Pump manufactures the TopGear-series of internal gear pumps; with the TG L-range for low viscosity - high volumetric efficiency, TG G-range for general purpose and the TG H-range for high demanding applications.
