The product is made from nylon and is commonly used in clothing, backpacks, tents and annexes.
It works by one surface being made up of tiny little hooks and the other surface being made of tiny little loops.
When the two surfaces are put together the hooks grab on to the loops fastening them together.
A moderate amount of force will allow them to be separated.
This process can be repeated over and over again. The product is commonly used in the display and exhibition industry, however it can be used just about anywhere.
It comes in two qualities, Rubber Solvent or Acrylic Adhesive. The Rubber Solvent material is designed for short-term use (12 months or less), where the Acrylic is designed for long-term use (i.e. permanent bonding).
Neither of these products is suitable for bonding to flexible surfaces and is recommended only for solid surfaces such as metal, wood and rigid plastics.
