Leading Australian welding equipment supplier, Kemppi Australia, has announced that it’s parent company, Kemppi Oy, has signed a partnership agreement with Formula 1 driver Valtteri Bottas.
The partnership agreement ensures the continued co-operation that started between Kemppi and Bottas in 2007. Since then, both parties have worked together to promote their areas of expertise and mutual ideals.
Mr Anssi Rantasalo, Kemppi's CEO said, 'Valtteri represents the values and principles of our company in the best possible way, and the sport he is in is a perfect message carrier with a spot on match to our targeted global audience.'
According to Mr David Green, Managing Director, Kemppi Australia, there is much synergy between the two activities. 'Formula 1 driving is a very demanding sport that requires exacting standards. Similarly, quality welding can also be demanding and requires meeting specific standards. To remain at the fore, both activities also require dedication and a commitment to innovation, which Kemppi and Valtteri both posses.'
'I am very pleased to continue our long term partnership with Kemppi. I am proud to represent an innovative hi-tech welding machine company from Finland, which is such a strong brand in the welding industry. We have already had a great journey together, as Kemppi has been supporting me since my karting days. But I am sure that together with Kemppi, we both will still have plenty of success ahead of us. I would like to thank everyone at Kemppi for their trust and support,' commented Valtteri Bottas.
'We're delighted to continue our partnership with Valtteri and we wish him and his team the best of success in the upcoming F1 season,' said Mrs Teresa Kemppi-Vasama, Chairman of the Board of Kemppi Oy.
The Kemppi brand will be visible on Valtteri's racing helmet.
