Features of the Lasermet ADM-1000 Laser Power Monitor include:
Super-fast response times down to 700 ns using the Lasermet Advanced Detector Interface
Advanced Detector Interface (ADI) logo
Exceptionally high accuracy and repeatability
Peak power, energy per pulse and average power measurements
Display and measurement of pulsed waveforms up to 400 kHz
Easy-to-use hand-held instrument
Choice of compatible photodiode and thermal heads
Patented speed-up circuitry and stabilisation electronics for thermal heads
New compact photodiode head for measurements in confined spaces
Fully calibrated and traceable to international and UK National Physical Laboratory standards
Illuminated display and keypad
At the heart of the laser power monitoring system is the Lasermet Advanced Detector Interface (ADI) which has been specially configured to enable the ADM-1000 to measure significantly smaller and faster signals than conventionally-used meters. The ADI allows the electronics to be placed close to and optimised for each detecting head thereby achieving maximum performance every time.
The hand-held Advanced Digital Meter, which provides clear digital and graphical displays, is used in conjunction with any of the Lasermet detector heads. There are a variety of high-performance photodiode and thermal heads to choose from depending on the laser characteristics and type of measurements to be undertaken.
This versatile instrument has a wide variety of applications including:
Production calibration Instantaneous measurements
Automatic laser stability testing
Laboratory or field use
Direct peak power measurement for pulses of 4's or longer
Medical laser output power/energy check
Pulse energy measurement
Measurements in confined areas
Pulsed laser characterisation
Lastek | Laser & Optical Based Photonic Technologies
The Lastek Group of Companies was formed in 1988 and operates today from a large, fully-restored factory located in the University of Adelaide's Commerce and Research Precinct at Thebarton, Adelaide, South Australia. The Group offers a unique set of laser and optical technological resources to the Australian and New Zealand photonics industry. With a staff of over fifteen employees, Lastek brings together a wealth of experience in lasers, optics and complementary technologies.
Lastek is the leading distributor in Australia and New Zealand for many of the world's most advanced laser and photonics companies. Our sales and service personnel, including 3 PhDs, are the most experienced in the industry. We support customers in leading edge applications in diverse fields. These range from fundamental research in physics, chemistry, engineering and biology, to industrial applications of photonics technology, to advanced microscopy and imaging systems, and spectroscopy.
The Groups activities are diverse: in addition to the supply and support of advanced laser and optical equipment; we design and manufacture optical instruments and we undertake custom design and optical project management for a wide range of customers and applications.
Well-equipped workshops and laboratories allow Lastek to undertake design and development tasks, system integration and custom manufacturing project. With in-house expertise in areas as diverse as software development, optical system design, high voltage electronics, opto-mechanical design and fabrication, Lastek have the experience and capabilities to develop advanced optical products, from prototyping to market release.
