There are a number of considerations in choosing the right lighting bollard for your proposed application.
Fixed insitu or baseplate models are available. Fixed insitu bollards are firmly implanted into the pavement or landscape and are recommended for applications where higher security is required.
Baseplate bollards are normally fixed to the pavement with masonry anchors.
2. Lens Type
Slotted or square. If vandalism is a potential problem, always choose a vertical slotted lens. For maximum illumination, choose a square lens model.
3. Lighting Arc
Choose either 180 (half circle) or 360 (full circle). 180 lighting is more suitable for lighting walkways while 360? lighting would be at home in a feature landscape area, plaza or park.
Two materials are available, stainless steel or aluminium. Stainless steel is recommended if security or impact resistance is an issue.
Stainless steel is also ideal for corrosive environments like coastal areas.
Aluminium is an ideal product for powder coating and can be coloured to your requirements. It can be recommended for aesthetic reasons.
5. Size (Diameter)
- Two sizes available in both materials.
- 80NB - 88.9mm outside diameter
- 150NB - 168.3mm outside diameter
