Not like thermal imaging system, the IRscope500 has a high distance to spot ratio (500:1) to ensure accuracy of the measurement without having to spend a fortune using high resolution thermal camera fitted with expensive telelens. The IRscope500 has the advantage of its predecessor LR300 that user can easily aim at the target through the 3.5" TFT LCD and reads the target temperature on the screen. Besides the IRscope500 has a far more superior in long distance coverage. The future improvement will also incorporate USB, storage and software for report and analysis.
