However when connected to a Campbell Scientific data logger , the Low Power Consumption CC640 Digital Camera provides the ultimate flexibility in data capture and retrieval. For activation of the data capture process, the logger can be programmed to trigger the Varifocal Lens Digital Camera CC640 on the measurement of any combination of parameters (e.g. water levels, visibility levels, temperature, etc).
Once the image has been captured, it can be stored in the logger’s memory or downloaded back to base using telemetry links. This delivers the logged images to your PC, allowing you to view the site in the comfort of your own office - and without the need for time consuming site visits.
The CC640 has a 3.5-8mm varifocal lens with electronic iris, resolution of 640 x 480 pixels and a view angle of 35.44 – 79.83 degrees. With a 12v supply voltage and capability of operating at temperatures of -40 to +70 degrees C, the CC640’s ability to operate in remote and harsh conditions makes it ideally suited for Australian applications.
