Customer: A Major plastic injection moulder, tool and die-maker providing high quality plastic parts and value added services to national and international customers alike.

Customer supplies a wide range of injection moulded products to the International Markets. This new product is one of their volume products and needed to have the capability to run continually 

The design had to be able to:

- Load and remove parts from the moulding machine
- Be capable of quickly changing from different parts of the same product
- Achieve a cycle time to match that of the moulding machine
- Complete the parts in one process  
- Run 24 hrs a day 
- Integrate with existing plant 
- Route to a high accuracy
- Future proof (have the ability to add new products when required)

The solution was to use two Nachi VS05LE Robots integrated through a PLC to control and monitor robots and moulding machines. One of Long Reach VS Robot is mounted on Gantry to pick the Injection Moulded part from Injection Moulding Machine and then place it in front of Second VS05LE Robot which then does Routing application on the plastic part
