Magnetic Door Holders | Heavy Duty HBL Series Lock Bolt
The HBL series of devices are low profile, heavy duty high security electric locking mechanisms suitable for both hinged and sliding doors. They have a holding force of up to 800kgs. The devices internal CPU processing module monitors the accurate alignment of the keeper plate and timely throw of the lock bolt.
Once the lock bolt is engaged within it's keeper a hardened "locking pin" connects within the lock bolt, overcoming the possibility of forcing back the lock bolt. If attempts are made to force the bolt, the device will indicate an alarm condition. The HBL1280FD is identical to the HBL1280 except for the "locking pin" function.
The ED model is suitable for tire door applications, i.e. self latching, the "locking pin" function is omitted from this model, however the device will still alarm if attempts are made to push back the lock bolt. Models 1282 and 1283 are also provided with a high security manual release key cylinder for use in event of power outage.
The devices can be inter-phased with building management and access control systems to control access and egress to hinged and sliding doors including fire rated models.
