Endeavour Manufacturing Awards nomination recognises implementation of Time Allocation System software at Croydon Industries

Mitrefinch, a leading innovator in intelligent employee time and attendance management, has been nominated for Best IT Application 2016 in the Australian Manufacturer’s Monthly Endeavour Manufacturing Awards, which celebrate the manufacturing industry’s successes. The nomination is in recognition of the outstanding implementation of Mitrefinch Time Allocation System (TAS) software at Croydon Industries, a leading supplier of products and services to the Air Conditioning, Food and Chemical Processing, and Mechanical Services Industries.

The powerful Mitrefinch TAS software at Croydon Industries can track all tasks, budgets and jobs as well as compare these areas with similar work that has been done in the past. This gives a point of reference to see if jobs are on track, and greater insight into the status of various projects in real time, as the system can look at areas such as hours, quantity, or cost.

Commenting on the nomination, Mr. Allan Murdoch, Asia Pacific Business Development Manager, Mitrefinch Australia said, “We are delighted to be nominated for the Endeavour Manufacturing Awards for the second time for our work with Croydon Industries, as we continue to focus on helping our customers better plan and control employees’ schedules and jobs, reduce labour costs, enhance administrative efficiency, and improve payroll accuracy.”

Croydon’s IT expert, Mr. Martin Welton said, “As a highly successful company with many different jobs coming through the factory floor for a range of clients, Croydon makes use of the latest technologies to ensure high quality products and services for customers. Mitrefinch TAS has helped Croydon supervisors prioritise jobs, and tasks involved in completing each job with accurate, up-to-date information. It is possible to not only predict how long they might take in the future, but also to track if actual performance is meeting those standards and take action where required.”

The awards will be announced on the 12th of May, 2016 during a ceremony at Novotel, Sydney Olympic Park.
