New from Paqworks is the range of Premium Mobotix IP CCTV Cameras.
Application Functions of Mobotix Rugged IP Cameras:
Designed for industrial or Security applications and manufactured in Germany, Mobotix lead the world for image quality, functionality and durability.
Mobotix’s unique “distributed intelligence” approach to IP Video Security incorporates an embedded Linux operating system providing significant advantages when compared to conventional analogue video technology and webcams. Unlike traditional CCTV and network camera installations, no additional hardware is required. Everything you need to operate the cameras is built in. Each unit can store between 2000 to 4000 individual images on its internal memory. Live video can be viewed directly in any SCADA package with storage on local and remote PC server or network attached storage unit (NAS).
Each Mobotix IP Camera comes equipped with a large range of features including; on board image storage, user definable motion detection, exposure detection, ftp server, email server, day and night lenses, Power over Ethernet (PoE), Megapixel resolution, IP Telephony, 30 Frames/s VGA (640x480) and have IP 65 rating, straight out of the box!
Installation is simple, plug in your Ethernet cable, type an IP address into a standard web browser and the camera is ready. To make things more convenient each model accepts Power over Ethernet (PoE) using standard IEEE 802.3af. Power over Ethernet eliminates the need for installation of camera power supply and cabling saving an estimated $300 per camera installation.
Mobotix cameras feature a wide operating temperature, IP 65 rating and no moving parts which make them ideal for outdoor or harsh environmental applications such as above or underground mining, electricity utilities and general manufacturing.
Modern network camera technology provides effective plant and building security surveillance. The cameras are an inexpensive alternative to a security service: they can be installed at all the critical points around the premises, operated around the clock and can even trigger event based alarms. With the help of Mobotix, for example, a single gate keeper can have a clear view of all building entrances and use the integrated intercom to talk to visitors.
