The ioPAC-8020 is a rugged RTU controller for front-end data acquisition and monitoring. It is equipped with powerful processor and a variety of interfaces. The ioPAC-8020 provides access to timely and accurate mission-critical information and can be connected to fixed device like PLC, smart meters and other serial devices. It has two Ethernet switch ports that allow system engineers to build control network over open standard with daisy-chain connectivity easily. The power redundancy design could ensure non-stop data transfer to the controller nearby and continuously manage communications on the control network. For train-related applications, the durable design of M12 Ethernet connector and spring-type terminal block could deliver reliable operation in high vibration environments.
Unlike other conventional controllers, ioPAC-8020 supports wide operating temperature from -40 to 75°c. Its alumni chassis could provide great heat dissipation for fanless operation. In addition, the hot swappable I/O modules can help avoid long start-up operations or other down-time related inconveniences. With intuitive Click & Go control logic, systems engineers could take advantage of this easy to use software solution to configure I/O in just few minutes using simple IF-THEN-ELSE statements.
