Neousys Technology Launches Nuvo-2700DS Series

Taipei, Taiwan – March 11th, 2021 – Neousys Technology, an industry-leading provider of rugged embedded systems, today announced a rugged digital signage system, the Nuvo-2700DS. Powered by AMD Ryzen™ Embedded V1605B with Neousys' exclusive thermal design to offer wide-temperature -25 to 70°C fanless operation, it can output to four 4K displays and playback 4K H.265 videos at 60fps.

The wide operating temperature and fanless design make it ideal for 24/7 applications in harsh indoor or outdoor environments, such as flight information display system (FIDS), train schedule board, or large digital billboards for advertisements. Furthermore, the inclusion of ignition power control and full bandwidth support of WiFi 6, 4G LTE, and 5G network modules also make Nuvo-2700DS ideal for mobile applications.

Supporting two conduction-cooled Google Edge TPUs, Nuvo-2700DS turns into a rugged edge AI computer with up to 8 TOPS AI inference performance. The AI capability enables outdoor digital advertising to interact with audiences to achieve accurate advertisement delivery. Anonymous analytic data such as the number of exposures of each advertisement, number of views, interaction rate, number of unique viewers, and the demographic variables can all be collected.

Thanks to AMD Eyefinity technology, Nuvo-2700DS supports 4-monitor splicing to display 8K content via 4 DP outputs. It also comes with two USB3.1 Gen1, two USB 2.0, COM ports, and optional DIO for general control purposes. It features flexible power input via either a mini-DIN for 12V DC or a terminal block for 8V to 35V DC input, and is ideal for in-vehicle or mobile robotic applications.
