Coverage and Customisation A standalone device will cover up to 150 metres. To increase this coverage range for larger sites or those with complex infrastructure, the hotspot range can be extended through the use of wireless boosters as well as internal and external antennas.
Boosters NetComm internal booster units are available to amplify the wireless signal. These devices connect directly onto one of the antenna ports of the hotspot and work to increase the range.
Booster units can only be connected to the hotspot and not to an external antenna.
Antenna NetComm offer antennas which can be used in conjunction with a hotspot. Antennas are for external use and are designed to be wall mounted in an outdoor area to spread the range of the wireless signal.
