CO2 laser optics are available in meniscus lenses and plano-convex lenses.
Meniscus lenses have one concave surface and one convex surface which creates a smaller beam diameter and reduces beam waste. These lenses also offer a more precise cut or mark on the workpiece.
Plano-convex lenses have one flat surface and one convex surface which is more suitable for high tunover cutting applications. These lenses offer a greater cut width which enables the CO2 laser to cut steel and other thick materials.
All mirrors, lenses and couplers are available in a range of sizes to suit your laser and its intended purpose. For more information, visit our new website at www.laserresources.com.au.
